Some Cap1 cc products of yesteryear, c/o WayBackMachine website

[ Edited ]

Hmmm is it just me lol, or did Cap1 actually offer better cc products and terms in the previous listed products below from some years ago, perhaps?  Here are some example links of what Cap1 products were like (courtesy of the WayBackMachine website, which lists older/archived website page content for historical purposes), back in the day, just for comparison to current card products:

I agree 100%...yes would indeed be very nice to be able to hypothetically go back to past APR offers and statements for comparison, vs. contemporary cc terms of today...  Smiley Very Happy

Did you see their offerings from back in 2004?

Ugly cards, but great perks, AF's, and APR's.

Starting scores: 552 EQ, 570 TU, 558 EX Current scores (9/29/17): 746 EQ 721 TU 719 EX

I think at one point in time, I actually had the 2006 Cap1 Platinum card at 8.9% F APR listed here at http://web.archive.org/web/20050308110514/http://capitalone.com/creditcards/compare.php?linkid=WWW_Z... . Unfortunately, since I was in the process of refinancing my existing mortgage at the time, my mortgage lender made me close out quite a few of the credit cards i had then, and this was a casualty (still have the terms for it, etc. on my computer in my electronic planner contacts list).
