After almost 40 years of in your face rock and staying true to their roots,  and along with Kiss, they are one of the last mainstayes of classic rock, I hope this story isnt true.  To be honest, I wasnt a great fan of the group, I saw them open for Focus and Spencer Davis back in 1972 and I didnt really like them so most of the poeple came to see a prog rock (Focus) band and not into their harder sound.  I do respect them and hope the story isnt true.  As their overplayed (to me) song stated, I hope I am not dreaming on.

Nooooooo :-(  I grew up listening to Aerosmith....my brothers and I would get in front of the TV and ROCK OUT whenever their music videos came on (even though my brothers would never admit it today, lol). The group will NOT be the same without Steven Tyler :-( awwww.

A long time ago I think Joe Perry left for awhile.  They can probably find someone to mimic Steve but it wont be the same without him.

Not an Aerosmith fan, but sorry to hear this for you fans. It never seems the same when the front man leaves.
