That is a standard reply on the where is my refund site.  Your refund should be in your hands on or before 1/31/2012.

I was prepared to file and I received a 1098 from SM!!  Um, as much as I want to claim it, I am not sure I should claim that interest.....it should have been (but was not) on a 1098 from a few years ago.   argh.

I always wait til Feb 1st, because it just always seems like I have a 1099 or 1098 that comes in on Jan 31st.

I always wait until April, since I set up my withholding to not withhold as much during the year.  

It's kinda funny though, between my state tax refund and federal tax bill, I'm going to pay about $7 overall

First year ever owing.  Worked entirely to much OT, and it bumped me up a tax bracket.  Now I owe $214, so now I'll wait until April.

Has anyone received their refund yet?  I had read that the govt' powers to be had not yet approved a patch for AMT tax.   If they don't approve a patch, then a lot more people were going to owe the AMT tax for 2011.
