Of course. But Illinois, and especially the north part of the state has historically been pro gun control.


Not so much.  Cook County as well as that cess pool down by St Louis have been the culprets for many years. The vast majority of IL has been very red, but the huge numbers in the "give me free stuff" army counties have surpassed the rest of us for quite some time.

Cook is worst. Coming from the Wisconsin border headed South, the local gov'ts desire for CCW lessens.

 

Most of McHenry, and top half of Lake are like me (I'm in Lake Co)...The garbage towns on the very northern portion of the lake are wastelands already. More criminals, than honest citizens.

 

Many large overgrown lots to hunt in with owner permission, but the cops get edgy in these areas, due to the illegal residency counts.

Try getting to Texas from Oklahoma.  All the freaking bridges were closed yesterday.  Had to take detour after detour.  So much water, it's unreal.
