Eureka! I found it. The way to develop patience and stop obsessing over your credit score!
It's not an obsession if you're having fun and it's not interfering with your life such as, You destroy your relationship by saying "Honey, we need to stop making love at this moment. I am interested in viewing my credit score now," or you habitually have to take out your cell phone to see your latest credit score while waiting at the traffic light or the like.
I don't think you are literally obsesesed with your credit score 24/7 as you believe that you are. You have plenty of daily task to concern over.

No point in obsessions if they are not "fun" - time to move on to another obsession.
