Re: Things that are actually worth the money...

I spend money on a few nice things. I love my raybans. Got to have those and since I sit on them about once a year I usually have a newer pair. I buy the best parts for my old mercedes. The aftermarket stuff doesnt work well. I have a nice computer that I use a lot and I take really good care of it. I buyt quality oil for my car too. I dont own a Tv or nice furtniture though

There are only 2 things a girl needs to be truly happy. Coach purses and Cute running shoes! I have a small fortune invested in both! Smiley Very Happy

Re: Things that are actually worth the money...

Nice shoes - casual, dress, and running.  I want my feet to last me well into retirement.

Nice clothing.  I almost never buy it, but when I do, I want it to hold up for years.

Nice yarn - for making my own nice clothing.  Plus, I get lots of enjoyment out of selecting it, knitting it, and wearing (or gifting) the finished product.

Healthy food.  Next to housing, food is my biggest expense.  I'm tryng to get it under control because even accounting for the fact that I'm stolidly dedicated to buying local, organic, etc., it's still too much for just two people.  That said, I'm realistic about the fact that it's going to remain a considerable expense... and I'm okay with that.

Haircuts/color.  I'm just not willing to cut corners here.  I make up for it by having a hair style that only needs cutting one every 3 months.

Toilet paper, watches (the only piece of jewelry I wear daily), makeup/skincare, and cookware. Everyone should invest in a great set of pots and pans.
