Do you all hunt much? Bassets make excellent hunting dogs.
Nope, we don't hunt at all.. although as my DH would say "There is no hunting, like the hunting of men..." lol
He has always wanted a hound, grew up hunting in GA. We read they are good hunting dogs, BUT are so into sniffing that they get lost easily, so must keep an eye on them outside.. Right now she mostly seems interested in stalking and attacking any and every leaf and pinecone in the yard
