I don't make New Year's Resolutions. lol However, my hopes for 2017 credit wise include 1) shifting some credit around on my BofA cards and cancelling one of them; 2) product change my NASA card, if they do that; getting an increase in my PenFed PLOC. That's about it. I will be losing some of those pesky inquiries, which makes me very happy. Good luck to everyone! (I enjoyed reading everyone's resolutions and hopes.)

Good luck in '17 to all!
Major props to you on that one! I did a tour at UCI over the course of 9 months and it fell apart on me leading to a withdrawal this past Fall... going to school when you have (presumably) other things going on in life is damned hard. Next time I try it will be new career or no more income time I guess, and everything that can be let go from my life will be. Course if I do wind up with the wife and kids thing (which school was anathema to at age 41) that'll get just a wee bit harder but will cross that bridge if I come to it.
Best of luck to you as well!
1. Mortgage refi on my primary residence in January or February
2. Pay off mortgage on rental property to increase monthly income
3. Get a Chase Ink card
4. Continue to closely monitor credit
Close at least 4-6 cards and spend less time on this forum (yeah like that's going to happen).
ohhhh, and actually look at what I type on here before I hit post which will save me "editing" 90% of my posts (probably won't happen either) or get computer glasses.
Probably close Barclay Choice Privledges, Diners MC, BBVA AmEx, Cabellas when it converts to Cap-1, after that it gets harder but probably BoA Cash Rewards (crappy limit).
No need or want to open any new cards, so that shouldn't be an issue.
