Thanks for the info. I just sent a letter requesting specific reasons. IMO I think that there is some type of computer glitch because they are saying that there is pending legal action against me...but I have no knowledge of this.
ME TOO!!
Even though my credit reports are correct, I think my IIB accounts didn't get marked properly in their internal systems.
I've moved on. Never cared for them all that much anyway . . was just trying to get my rebuild going. I have far better cards now.

Capital One doesn't black list. They gave me a credit card with their credit card showing as charged off on my report and updating it monthly.
There is no rhyme or reason to their black list, but it definitely exists.
Almost ten years on AmX blacklist. Don't plan on applying. Ever.
Depends how long I post to the forums.
Burned US Bank in 2015. I haven't made any attempts for even a checking/savings account!
I'll see when the token baddie falls around early 2021 by giving it a go. Rumor states their memory isn't as long as USAA, NFCU, or AMEX.

Well I burned AX for many thousands of dollars and never ever did I figure to get back in with them. It has been 17 years. Oh ... I am not back with them and do not intend to take the HP. There are other lenders that cover my basis so it is not worth getting excited over AX. Originally got in with AX with the Green and then Gold Charge Cards with a Bank Credit line (prestige and mystique was the thing and not issuing cards to the masses). Today all the hype etc is gone so for me why bother? It is about what card product best suits my need at any given point in time.
I could be wrong, but my understanding is that Amex rejects apps from blacklisted people before even pulling a credit report. So no HP unless/until you're off the blacklist.

Correct, they don't. Barclays won't either but Chase will and I think Citi will as well.
