I've taken Amtrak once or twice, on shorter trips. This summer I need to go from DC to SC (9hours)

Is it worth is to upgrade to business? The money is fine (40 bucks more) but I want to know if there is a big difference between the sections. The website is not-so-helpful.

I used to travel from DC (Union Station) to NYC (Penn Station) nearly every week. I'd usually opt for Acela Express, but once upgraded to Business on a non-Acela train because the Acela was full. I didn't notice any difference. Maybe seats. It was just as crowded and probably would have opted not to upgrade in the future. Of course that was just over a 3 hour trip.
