why is freaking firefox bogging down my computer's memory so badly lately???  grrr......it's so annoying!  i've tried restarting, running my virus software, shutting down other programs at startup, ONLY using firefox (no multi-tasking).......nada!  i know i have a lame computer but come on!  Smiley Mad

Clear cookies?

 

I did that a while back, and life got good again. I'd been doing a lot of online window shopping, and I had a zillion cookies. No Thin Mints, though. Smiley Sad

i did a little of everything........cleared cookies, cache, search history, etc.

 

also did a defrag & disk cleanup, as well as scandisk.  seems to be running better so far.

 

i must be the only person on the planet who despises thin mints Smiley Very Happy
