It struck me the other day that I get mailed loan offers from Prosper, Marcus by Goldman Sachs and others VERY frequently. I'm talking, maybe once a week from each of them. Surely they make money doing this, but I can only imagine how many mailed pieces they send in a month, and what the cost is, between paper, printing, postage, etc.
Does anyone in the banking or mailhouse business have any sort of notion about the gross number of pieces mailed for a campaign like, say, rolling out Marcus loans? It must be in the tens of millions, if I had to guess.
