i refid my auto loan with dcu and noticed they have insurance offering.
i currently have liberty mutual, and their great but i can tell my rate is going to spike when a ticket is going to hit(maybe not that much)
but i wanna shop around.
ive never been in a at fault accident or even a reported acident in this car (have had it for 3 years)
i have 2 tickets. one from 2011 was a moving violation(heard you get a pass, just prevents you from a perfect record) and now this speeding ticket from sep 2014

Check out a quote from Geico. I switched from AIG or what ever they are going by these days and saved like 1500 a year lol definitely shop around.
damn 1500.
i asked a local insurance company to shop around.
they quoted me 100 less then my last years policy.
liberty mutual apparenttly writes their policy a month early? as i called and they said they couldnt give me my renewal amount until around the 1st (policy expiers august 30th)
if i up my dedectuble from a 500 to a thousand it drops another 200.
im considering doing it only for the fact i have never put in an accident claim since ive had the car, and never been in any accidents since ive been driving that were my fault.

I have Progressive. They've been a good deal for me. I also like the fact that I can pay my premium in full with PayPal (and then use PayPal Credit for the payments) as a means to save a little money. Reminds me, I'm due to renew by August 6th.
the one positive (not that it would effect me negatively) in Massachusetts they dont consider credit part of the factor.
ill have to check prgressive, but to my knowledge, i think the insurance agency checks all the companys so im figuring thats the lowest that ill get( one ticket back in September)
while it wont be hurting me per se, it prevents me from the good driver discount for another 5-6 years.
im just glad because when i was a new driver it was almost 90 a month for basic, if i take the higher deductible ill be down to 110 a month for full. or 130 for full for the 500 deductible.
