I am looking at opening an account at either vanguard, scotttrade or ?
Who do you guys and gals use?
I use Fidelity
I use vanguard for their low expense ratios.their target retirement mutual funds are quite cheap relatively speaking
Without knowing your specific goals, the general best are Vanguard, Schwab, and Fidelity. Commissions, minimums, expense ratios, etc can make one better than the other depending on what you're looking to do.
Just looking into buying some stocks and possibly get into some funds
Fidelity for work.
Ally for stacking/laddering IRA CDs.
Vanguard for Roth.
Wherever you go, look for no-load index funds and let them ride....
my cousins use vanguard for everything .. ETFs and stocks .. was thinking of going with them but I have read that scottrade has lower fees etc
I give all my money to my honey. She says it's in a good place.
...ok, being serious. Prudential.
Not investing yet, but one of my goals is to save $3k to open an account with Vanguard, most likely their 500 index fund. I'll do some more research before I open the account, but I'm just looking for the lowest expense ratio!
If you don't want to invest the three thousand up front you can go etf route also. Has the same expense ratio as the admiral shares, which require 10000 dollars.
