First, I have an old Direct Loan (2006) that was supposed to have been in hardship deferment, but I didn't know that it wasn't until it was 120 days late. It's still showing on my CR, even though it was consolodated later on. How do I get those 120 days off my report?
Next, I have a loan from grad school w/ ACS/Wells Fargo that I've tried to consolidate with my current Direct Loan, but can't seem to get it to process. I tried it before the website changeover debacle, but I can't get an answer and I can't get through on the phones. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? I really want to get them all under one "roof".
Finally, I sent a payment through my bank's bill pay and they are showing that it wasn't received and I'm currently late. Again, what do I do? Send a copy of the bank info to them to prove I paid?
