Hello,
I have 3 TLs for US DEPT OF EDUCATION loans that were in default. The first missed payment from my records would be 12/7/2008, but my credit report is showing a closure date of 09/30/2010 and a falloff period of 03/2017.
These loans were settled on 07/27/2011.
Should the DoFD be 12/7/2008? I really don't want to have to wait till 2017 for them to be gone.
