ACS GW...Bypassing ACS and going to lender?

As most people on the board, I haven't had luck with ACS granting me GW on late payments.

I was wondering if I bypassed them and went to the lender (SLMA on one, BofA on two) has worked for anyone?

If so and you still have the contact information you used I would VERY MUCH appreciate it!

Thanks  Smiley Happy

It would probably not work simply because ACS is pretty hard to negotiate with and to put it very bluntly, these people gain nothing out of granting a GW delete.

If BofA sl department is anything like their CC dept., they probably won't be of any help.

But I'm always of the opinion that you can't win unless you try.

How late were the payments?
