Ask for correction or delete?

Hello, I had two student loans from AES that have been discharged through the Dept. of Ed. The problem is that AES is reporting these as currently 120+ past due on my credit report from EQ and TU. Talked to AES today, and they tell me the current actual status is "Assigned to govt", which is how they are supposed to appear, as they do on EX. So my question is, would you guys file disputes with EQ and TU asking the accounts to be deleted due to inaccuracy? Or would you just ask for a correction? You guys are the pro's, thanks in advance!
