BofA/ECMC claim filed w/govt removal

Hi, does anyone have a contact for BofA education loans GW? I had an account with them that I defaulted on so they sent my account to ECMC and I went through their rehabilitation process my account was rehabilitated and sold to Sallie Mae. My status with Sallie Mae is current/never late, but BofA is still reporting on my credit report it shows 'claim filed with govt'....anything I can do to get them removed? How can they still report when they no longer even hold the loan????????? I just want them to stop showing that its opened! It also shows that I have account three times, so it looks like I had three seperate accounts with them that went deliquent when it was really just one student loan!!! I don't know what to do!!!

Contact BOA.  Tell them that you completed rehabilitation on the defaulted loans, and that they need to remove the "claim filed" comments from their credit reporting.  

They'll most likely ask you for evidence that you completed rehab, so send it to them.  

I've never wored with BoA, but when I worked with Xerox/ACS on this problem, I was able to send them proof by email, and the paralegal working with me updated all of my credit reports within a few days.  Ask BoA if you can do that, or if they need it by snail maile.
