I've got about $140k now in the 3 year conditional disability discharge phase. Does anyone know how they will report to credit agencies? They are officially "discharged" (never late) but could be reinstated. My credit tanked last year when I became disabled and is now in the low 500s. The student loans are my only debt. Anyone been through this that can comment? I'm hoping wiping that debt off my credit report will make my score jump higher. I want to get a car soon, so am waiting to see. I initiated an investigation with the credit agencies, but that caused my scores to drop by 12 pts instead!

I know someone going through the process. How long did it take for you to get the discharge approved?
Did you get an Idea on how it affected your credit?
Thanks,
