Forbearance on student loan

[ Edited ]
I am trying to help my son in law clean up his CR.  He had a student loan that was twenty days before default.  My son in law called AES and they granted a forbearance.  Can anyone tell me what affect this will have on his CR?  The total amount of his student loan was $2625.00.

Re: Forbearance on student loan

Well, however late the payments were will show up. And, the loan will continue to accrue interest.
