I have a default student loan that goes back to 2008 (when it first reported 30+ lates, 90+ lates, 120+ lates), then finally went into default in 2009. I rehabbed in late 2011, completed the rehab process in mid-2012, currently on normal pay status. However, the default loan have left me w/ 24 negative TLs- 11 from College Foundation, 13 from NC Ed. Assst. I've sent both (NC Ed. Asst & Col Fdn) GW letters last month, asking to delete the neg. TLs. I was denied from NC Ed Asst last month, and today I received a letter from College Foundation, saying flat out "no". Should I retry the GW letters, rewording a bit differently? Or should i give up and wait until 2016(anticipated date to fall off)?
