Have a student loan rehabbed still reporting past due..

I have a student loan that defaulted before Bank of America transferred to government servicer. In my report it shows 120 + past due although it has a note that it was transferred to government. The rehabbed loan shows up as well with the new balance. is there anything I can do to get Bank of America off my report?

Contact them and tell them you rehab'd the loan and they are required by law to remove any indication of the default, which would be the "transferred to government servicer" comment in your case.  Some lenders will go so far as to delete the original tradeline, or remove the late payments, so it never hurts to ask for that as well.  The extra changes are at their discretion though,

I didn't contact anyone about it but eventually they removed this remark from mine after about 6 months
