How do I clear up my student loans

I guess I'm just going to copy and paste my student loan data from my EX report. I got into trouble with student loans after attending a very expensive Tech school. I have about 26K total. I've had them in forberance for several years, but will start making payments again now. Is there anything I can do to get the 120 and 180 day lates off? and what does this mean?:

Re: How do I clear up my student loans

[ Edited ]

Account will go back into positive status after 7 years since that is when the late payments will fall off due to age. The accounts will still be open.

You can call SM and ask if they will trade some forbearance for removing the recent lates. If you pay first, they probably won't apply the forbearance. You could just start paying and send GW letters.
