I recieved a call from the office of the CEO at Fed loan servicing and he told me he recieved my letter and CEO would give me an answer by middle of next week. 
I hope this works, but wanted to thank you as I didn't even know that this was possible before I found this forum.
 

has anyone worked with them on a goodwill and had success?

Send me good vibes that they will back date my loan long enough to wipe out all my late pays.

Let me know how that works out for you! I sent a letter two weeks ago asking them to retroactively backdate my forbearance from a year and a half ago to cover some lates, but haven't heard anything. Would you be able to PM me the contact info you have? Thank you!

I thought FHA just didn't want to see any lates within the last 12 months?

I have tried repeatedly with fed loan servicing to get one late removed that is 2 1/2 years old and frankly I still think it is due to their mess up & not mine. But they don't budge.

How did you find a ceo contact? Id be interested in getting it from you.
