I have 4 student loans.
One with Wells Fargo - Perfect history never late
One with EdFinancial - 1 90 day late about 13 months ago
2 with AES - HORRIBLE HISTORY! 60 days late 22 times, 90+days late 16 times
I have heard that you can't do GW with a student loan. I had called EdFinancial and asked if since I had made 12 consecutive payments on time could they forgive my one late and they said "I know what program you are asking about and you do not qualify" --- ??????
All of the loans are still open and are currently in good standing 13 months since any lates.
The bulk of the lates on the AES loans are from when it took me almost a year to find out my defferment had expired. Each of the 2 loans with AES is 2 loans in themselves.
I don't know if that makes sense .... 1 loan = Fall loan and spring loan 1996 and one = Fall loan and spring loan 1997
so if I am 30 days late 1 time it counts as 4 30 day lates.
Is there ANYTHING I can do?
