Late Removals on Student Loan

I recently had my student loans paid off. When I checked my credit report it stated that I was late for a couple of payments. I know this is not true because I was in forbearance at the time. Even though, the loan is closed; can I dispute the late payments .

Re: Late Removals on Student Loan

Yes.  If you were in forebearance during that time, then you should contact the student loan servicing company and have them correct the error.  Once they correct it, then it will be reported to the bureaus and corrected on your credit report.
