New Direct Loans loan and reporting question

I just pulled my report and it is reporting already. I just started school. Is this normal procedure?

In theory, new credit accounts can be reported from the very first day that they are opened.

Pretty normal for Direct Loans. Good News is Dept of Ed is pretty easy to deal with as a lender.
