Halp! Got a call from our lender Friday afternoon (of course lol) telling us that the CAIVERS came back showing a student loan in default, and we had to get it taken care of or our mortgage couldn't be done through FHA.
We are waiting on a response from our SL servicer but we are supposed to close on our new home WEDNESDAY! Realtor said it might just push our closing back a week, but I'm stumped!
Has anyone ever heard of or been through this? What was the outcome? I'm petrified!
