Removed from Sallie Mae student loan

I co-signed for my niece and after 24 months was removed as co-signor because she made 24 on time payments. She's a pharmacist and makes twice what I make now. My question is how to I get the loan removed from my credit report since I'm no longer responsible and no longer a co-signor but the loan is still showing on my credit report.

How long ago did she apply to have you removed?  It may disappear on its own in 30-90 days.  If it's been a while, you should contact Sallie Mae to have it removed.  In the meantime though, the only way its hurting you is if there is negative information or you need to bring down your debt-to-income.

Thanks for the reply. She had me removed in February so I will contact Sallie Mae to remove it from my credit report. I want to sell and buy a house and would rather have it removed.
