I myself was having issues with Sallie mae and as of this week not only had them buy back my loan but to contact me (sallie mae) and tell me that they were fixing everything. Thanks to a complaint put in to www.consumerfinance.gov

i have 3 late payments with 120 days each with salle mae back in 2010 if im correct and i just kinda left it there its been current and never late since then but i dont know if i should dispute it to get it erased or how it would even help ORR!!! if i should even bother since its been 3 years! dont think it would do a difference

Don't dispute accurate information, it can do more harm than good.
If you want to try to remove the lates, you can send goodwill letters like others have here. There's plenty of good advice and templates on these forums to help you with that.
If you aren't finding that the lates are holding you back though, you might just let them continue to age and focus on building a positive history going forward.

Can you please send the Sallie Mae contact info? I also have 18 accounts showing with derogatory remarks (lates on each on). I recently was granted a forbearance.
