Looking for advice here- I had my wages garnished for around $5K of student loans. The garnishment ended over six months ago, and the debt is now paid in full. Yesterday I sent letters to the credit agencies informing them that the line entry was inaccurate. Does this mean it could be deleted entirely, or can they modify it to reflect that it was paid via wage garnishment?
Thanks in advance, folks. This is my first post, but I've used this forum a lot, and I really appreciate all of the helpful people in this community.
