Hey guys and girls just wanted to post about my student loan rehab as many have before. A lot of you guys are in the process and wondering what will happen after that 9th payment. Timeline
Jan 4th first month payment for rehab
Sep 4th 9th payment
Sept 15 call GC services ( Rehab contact) ask what the deal is or what I need to do. They say my loan has been submitted for reinstatement just wait another week.
Sept 25 call again and they say it has been approved Nelnet is my new servicer.( no apparent change to credit)
Oct 4 CCT sends alert about credit changes. Check and my fedloan account closed and a new account with Nelnet/fedlaon opened with same balance as previous and 6 years of history but no info on payments ( no lates no on time just shows no history but it says open since 2011.
Today-Credit score up 45 points on CK have 5 more days before I can check CCT
