I need some advise please to help my sister:-) About 21 years ago my sister went to business school and defaulted on my student loan. Now 21 years later she just gets a call from a CA saying that she owes them and have to pay them. They have harassed her on the phone, I asked if she received any letters she said no but on the phone they are threatening her about putting it on her credit report, sue her, ect.
She defaulted because she went on SSI due to some physiological problems and has not worked since then. Can someone advise on how / what to say to them if they call again?
