So I've been watching the forums lately for students loans and credit cards. For the past few months I've been managing my 2 credit cards closely so that I could apply for the Amex BCE and the Chase Freedom this month. However, I just became aware of how high the rates are for the Direct Grad PLus Loans...and have been considering to apply for Sallie Mae. So my question is, would my applications for credit cards now have any affect on my loans in the Fall? Thanks!
