Student Loans (Which is the best one?)

Hey guys!

I am here to ask what are the best student loans out there? I have been looking at Discover, Ascent Tuition, College Ave and Sallie Mae.  I have been taking out Wells Fargo student loans the past 3 years, however I was denied for some reason this past month.  I am just looking to expand my options.  

Also, If i apply for a personal loan of about $5,500 to pay off an collections account, would this affect my chances of getting approved for a student loan?

No idea about best private loans.

You might get a slight credit score bump if you pay off a collections account in full, but I really really really recommened agaist taking out another loan to do it.
