Sure this has been covered....but SM is reporting several times on my reports

First time poster in this section!!

I am sure this has been covered.....but I don't know how to handle this.
SM reports several times on my credit reports....I had several small student loans (stratford, etc)....but they were all handled by SM (they later trans./sold them to ACS & are now being handled by them).

Anyway....is it correct that SM shows up several times on my reports.....is this common?
Can I do anything about it?
Can I get it listed as only one student loan?
Others I have talked to have said that this loan should only be listed once....since I only dealt with SM.
I was late a lot with SM......so instead of it being listed as being late with SM 4-5 times like it is now....I rather it show ass being late 1 time (hope that makes sense).

Any help would be great!

This is quite common- and is likely being reported correctly-

They are required to break out Subsidized and unsubsidized loans- most get one of each each semester-  easily turn into 8 loans.

IF this was reported as 1 loan- the lates (scoring wise) would be the same.
