Collection on debt to: Teri Loan Holdi
The collection agency "645YC09584" was hired to collect a debt of $10,121 originally owed to "Teri Loan Holdi" on account number "XXXXXXX"."
The date assigned is Aug 2010. The actual loan had to be from '06 being defaulted on with the others I had. So, How would I go about finding out when and if this will fall off my credit report?
Is this a student loan? If so, what type of loan was it - federal or private?
If you don't know, head over to the National Student Loan Data System - nslds.ed.gov and log in. You'll see a complete list of federal loans you've borrowed and by clicking on the number next to each loan, you can see who is currently holding it.
Let us know more about this account, and we'll see if we can help.
It is not listed on that site...so i'm guessing it's a private loan?
Yes it was a student loan.
