What effect will a disability discharge of student loans have on credit?

I recently had all my student loans discharged due to a disability.

What effect will this have on my credit? How will it display and what will it do to the score?

Also, I had some late payments that fell within the 3 year period which should have been covered by the conditional dishcharge. Can I get these removed?

I have the same issue and my original loan servicer said the late payments on my credit reports will be removed automatically when my loans are discharged.. However loan servicers have been known to promise everything under the sun, so I am not holding my breath.  I also wish to know if late payments can be removed from ones credit report if they happened during 3 year conditional discharge period.
