I'm honestly not sure if Perkins loans are reported to CAIVRS because they are made from a pool of money controlled by the school rather than the Department of Education. Since they are still a federally-backed loan, there is a good chance that it is. For such a small amount, I would just round up the payment and contact the collection agency. Be sure you get a paid in full letter so that you can provide it if something doesn't update.
