I recently unfroze my credit reports to get a credit card cause my score improved. I unfroze all 3, but when i went to apply with discover they said experian was still frozen. I then contacted experian and they said there was no freeze on my account anymore as of weeks ago. I called back discover and they said ok let me try something which they did and were able to push it through.
Now I tried to look for a consolidation loan for my student loans with Sofi and they said they couldn't prequalify me because my credit was locked with experian. I can not get any response from experian they claim it is unfrozen. I was looking for answers and help and this was the only place I believe I could find some suggestions.
