I have (2) 120 day lates that are turning 5 years old. One is Nov and one in Dec. Since time lessens the impact of major lates do you think I would see a score increase at all? They are the only 2 that I have. Any input is appreciated.
There might be some, but I wouldn't expect a whole heckuva lot, unfortunately.
Who are they with? I guess you've already tried GW and all.
I have to agree with HTSU. 120 day lates will continue to hurt at least some for the entire period they report.
From a BK years ago to:
EX - 9/09 pulled by lender 802
EQ - 7/06-663, 3/10-800
TU - 8/10-772
You can do the same thing with hard work
The lates led up to a charge off (Cap 1). For some strange reason it was 30,60,90,120,120 then CO. (120 twice) From this forum I have learned that major derogs affect your credit the whole time they are on your report but as I understand they have less of an impact over time. So maybe they give up a couple of points every year until they fall off?I guess I will find out in a couple months. Thanks for the input.
