Okay its been about 3 weeks, and I am wondering, is there a reason my equifax score hasnt improved since the removal of 3 accounts? I called them and asked if it improved right away and they told me it does. How long does this usually take?
I think 69-90 days someone can correct me if I am wrong
Was this your only 3 collections? Have you verified that they came off of your report? What other baddies do you have? How old were these collections?
In some cases if you have a lot of collections removing 3 won't cause a score change. Also if you newer collections and removed 3 old ones it could cause the score to stay the same.
Keep on the other negatives, your score will go up! Good luck!
Thanks Shogun, you and Jamie are certainly encouraging.
Their are 5 collections left. Two from over 4 years ago.
3 from within the last year. The ones that were removed two are from within the last year, and one from 2010.
This is what is left, I have a PFD letter for the 156 and the 92.00 will be removed once that is paid.

That'll just leave 3, big improvement!
Yes definately, I am wondering tho, why is equifax going down?
It is at 515. Do I need to be rebucketed?
Will it take a few months?
How many credit cards do you have now?
Just Premiere. Paid on time for going on 5 months.
