3 inquiries from same co.

Hi there...
I recently got a loan from a local high interest rate title place. I am paying off some collections to reboost my score with the loan. I asked about the inquiry from the loan manager and he said that they did not look at a score but would pull TU.

I subscribe to EQ (directly) and I am getting alerts about inquiries from this co...3 so far on different days. I am getting upset. I was expecting one, but it seems this guy is spying on me now and also lowering my score! What should I do? Does the permission given in application mean that they can pull up your credit every few days like this guy seems to be doing?

FICO will de-duplicate INQ's from the same source - so scoring wise you don't need to worry.

These will still affect your "number of INQ's" when apping with other lenders that don't like to see a bunch of inq's.

After the loan is opened and it is not past due- PP is no longer there. 

The http://www.ftc.gov/os/statutes/fcra/gowen.shtm Gowen opinion - they may not even have PP to soft on an installment account.

I don't think this guy is as credit saavy as some...when I asked about the original TU pull before I obtained the loan, I asked if he was going to do a "hard pull" or "soft" (truthfully, I am not sure how they accomplish one over the other) and had to explain those terms somewhat (best of my ability) to him.

I think I am going to give him a friendly call just to ask "what's up?"
