700 club at last

10 years ago I had good credit, a good job and an awesome family. That's when my journey started. My kidneys went bad. Started dialysis and discriminated at work twice. I was force to retire in such a young age. Income is thru social security only. I had to let my credit go to collections. 7 years past so some collections dropped but some current ones remained. In April 2016, my fico score was 550. Cap one Sent me a preapprove credit for a gm rewards card world elite mc. It was a credit step program.
From there entered to rebuild my credit by joining a credit repair program for 2 months and it did help a lot. With some deletions my score with up in the low 600s. I was reading the credit pull data base and trying to figure what bank would be helpful to rebuild credit. So I app with penfed, nfcu, dcu, nasa, tdecu, service credit union and Navy army ccu. All gave me cc sl of 500-2500. I been paying on time and more than the min. UTI 9%, score jump to 680. App for Sams and approve for 5k with their mc. 3000 for Wal-Mart store Card. Bbva clearpoint visa for 2800, bbva unsecure signature loan for 10000 and auto loan for 19000. Been paying on time with only my ss income and my score finally hit tu 701, ex 700 and eq 667. Not to brag but I am bless with a family that stayed by my side thru this ordeal, healthy or not, but a lot of struggles. Just work hard to build your credit and my motivation factor is my wife and kids. With good credit even you don't make much will take you a long way. Bless you all.
