6 months ago all I had was a 1k qs1 and a 1200 creditonebank. I applied for a Chase freedom got approved for 4000 and got between 11-13 point bump across the board. Fast forward to now my scores are similar maybe 5-10 points higher I have closed my credit one card -3 points and got approved very Southwest Chase card with a $12,000 limit and only got a 3 point bump across-the-board I thought at least 10 points would've been in the bag.

It's not as simple as that. Your FICO score isn't determined by just one factor; in this case a new credit line. Yes, by adding a new credit line you add new avaiable credit which then lowers your utilization which is a positive factor on your score. But remember that one action, adding a new credit line, has other ramifications. By adding a new credit line you are also lowering the Average Age of Accounts - each time you add a new credit line the average age of all of your account is lowered - this is a negative factor. You need to consider all factors before being surprised of what occurs.
