After Points Are Deducted From Any New Approvals......

.......is there a hard range in the amount of weeks or months before the FICO scores rebound and turn around again if nothing else changes? On one bureau after 2 approvals i noticed a 12 point subtraction. Does it also depend on the notorious "bucket" you come under? For example, i hypothetically assumed that with my 2 approvals that 2 HP's equal a 5 point drop each and the mere reporting of those same 2 lines a 1 point each drop accounting for the full 12 point FICO point lowering.

Does this math fall in line accurately enough with a common expectation from what i just explained? At exactly or approximately how many months afterwards until the scores go back up again?

Re: After Points Are Deducted From Any New Approvals......

General rule

3-5 point for a HP

3-5 point for new TL reporting (AAoA)

Recovery time 3-6 months

As always YMMV

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Hopefully it's 3 months for my scores but now you show that range it likely depends on other factors if the recovery of points come sooner or later. Thanks
