+1. Yeah I would be all over that too, like white on rice.
We just got DW's Citi ThankYou Premier card. The combined signup/spend bonus is going to come out to $800 -- we have to spend $5,000 in the first 92 days.
That's about 55%-70% of our average rolling three month CC spend, so it's not encouraging us to spend any more money.

The Citi ThankYou Premier card I'm familiar with is this one, which doesn't seem to offer quite $800 but also requires you to spend $2,500 within the first three months. Are you referring to a different version of the card? (Maybe another way of asking the question is: what does "DW" stand for?) Thanks! I'd love to take a look at the one your refering to.

Citi sent my wife three different targeted offers in one week on two different cards. The 80,000 ThankYou points one on the ThankYou Premier card was too good to pass up (it's worth $800 for gift cards, and student loan or mortgage rebates. For us, it's only worth about $600-$650 since we are passing up other cashback opportunities on:
On this site, and two other sites (Fat Wallet and FlyerTalk), others have mentioned targeted offers as high as $1,000.
