Vegas..... With medical collections that old, I highly suggest you try the HIPAA letter program. My wife had 13 medical collections in October. Now ZERO. All either deleted or paid the the OC.

Ya, I did the Hippa law with my credit, and worked to perfection....I will do it for my wife....I called the OC and they talked to me about my wife renting out breast pumps for our baby without my wife's conscent and that she owed 150 dollars for it......by the way great job removing collections off your wifes.....I removed about 25 collections without paying a dime by debt validation and hippa laws and complaining to the BBB on some of them.....

Re: Anyone with 2 old collections with 700+ FICO?

I would think it is possible with two old collections. I have a forecloser and a credit card settlement showing from just over two years ago, with al scores now being in the 715-725 range (see below).
Year 2012: All Scores in the 520 range, during a foreclosure, CC Settlement and high UTIL. Very ugly days...
April 2024: EX8: 840; EQ8: 832; TU8: 842 -- Middle Mortgage Score: 822
In My Wallet: Discover $73.7K; Cap1 Venture $51.7K; Amex ED $38K; Amex Optima $2.5K; Amex Delta Gold $18K; Citi Costco $24.5K; Cap1 Plat $8.4K; Barclay $7K; Chase Amazon $6K; BoA Plat $21.6K; Citi TY Pref $22K; US Bank $4K; Dell $5K; Care Credit $6.5K. Total Revolving CL: $300K+
My UTIL: Less than 1% - Only allow about $20 a month to report, on one account. .

Wow.....great scores with 2 baddies! Looking at the Credit cards you have....you must have an old AAoA.....do you play the Utilization game where all cards report a 0 balance and 1 card has less than 10% utilization? Or is your utilization on your cards very small? OOOOOPS NEVERMIND, I JUST reas your signature where your utilization is nothing but on 1 card...good man, I do the same.

Thanks.  Yes, as you saw, I only allow a few dollars on one account to report.  I am not planning to apply for anything for at least the balance of this year, but I still am trying to optimize my scores.  This rebuild has literally turned into an obsession.  Smiley Happy

I think it's doable as long as you have low inquiries, a decent AAoA, 2 years+ and a few revolving credit cards and/or installment loans.

Collection is due to fall off in July, so 6.5 years reporting on that one. The liens were reported in 08 and 09. Hope that helpsSmiley Happy
