Four apps and approvals from Discover It, CSP, Barclay Ring, NASA; Here are the changes, bizarre to say the least:
Experian drops 25 points from 812 to 787-only one inq from Chase reported, two new accounts reported, Discover and Barclay. 25 point drop on one inq and two new accts?
Equifax drops 17 points from 814 to 797-Two inqs; Chase and Discover: two new accounts reporting, Barclay and Discover
Trans Union drops ten points; 813 to 803- One inq; Barclay, One new account reporting, Barclay.
*Chase Sapphire as new account not reporting anywhere!
*NASA inq and account not reporting anywhere!
This FICO stuff always boggles the mind!
It is not unusual for someone in the 800 club. This month I lost 51 points on TU for 2 new Inq, 3 new accounts and my last installment loan closed. The higher the score the bigger the hit can be when changes are made.
If you take enough small steps towards a cliff, eventually you'll run out of steps and fall off the cliff.
Luckily, in the credit game, you don't really fall off, and by not doing anything for the next 12 months you reverse your steps.
We all get the AAOA, inq stuff. 25 points for one inq seems excessive. I"ve had 2-3 inqs drop less. Moreover, NASA inq does not appear anywhere. Strange. Very strange.
NASA approves with a soft. I have a 30k card no hard pull.

Hmmm, I was denied NASA last year and got hit with a HP?

They don't like you? 😀. Strange because mine was a SP as well
